On October 6, 2016, The charming historic New Lexington voting house was relocated from it's original location on Highway 43 North across from Big Al's Restaurant in New Lexington, Alabama to its new home on Shepherd Hill in Samantha, Alabama and its transformation began into "Pearl-Frances Chapel". Larry Williamson acquired the building from previous owners, John and Peggy Walker. It is named in memory of the Williamson siblings grandmothers, Pearl Taylor Williamson and Frances Dockery Keeton.
It is our hope that Pearl-Frances Chapel will provide a dedicated place for our community to stop in for special prayer needs or to have a quiet, private moment with Our Lord and Savior and that it will serve to strengthen our community.
Scott Herndon built the beautiful benches for the chapel
